Today, I said goodbye to my dear friend of almost 30 years! Not many people had as much influence as Tommy did in my life. He was the brother I never had and taught me so much about life, survival and how to be your own person. He led by example. Accepted me into his family and guided me through some rough waters. We shared so many great memories and fun times at Nicks Islander! Where fun was had by all and all was welcome. We survived snow storms and tornado's and fireworks and many many good times! He was a trusted friend that had your back and brought love and joy to everyone who knew him. Man of many talents as an entertainer, singer, dancer, mechanic, electrician, business man, friend, husband, father and Grandfather. Avid Alabama fan, chef and grill master! Eggs Nicholson was his secret family recipe! Tommy was a gift to many people and will be missed by many in this world. Tommy is in a better place now with no pain or suffering. I will only say so long as we will meet again. This world lost a treasure as Heaven gained an angel. One of a kind man that always had your back and protected the ones he loved. My heart felt sympathies go out to Donna and family. I love you, miss you and cherish every moment we spent together. Thank you for your friendship! Thank you Donna, for sharing this man with the world.... like you had a choice, right? I will never forget you my friends... Rest in Peace my friend.

You have me deepest sympathy. Tommy and I went to Comer together. We lost contact and I traveled for a food company and he in the service..I know how the loss had an effect on your lives. Lost my wife in May of this year. I'd say if there was anything I could do for you I'd be happy to, if my computer, I live in North Carolina. Again Tommy was a great guy as we all grew up together, he one of the smart one. God bless and our support in thoughts..Tony
