I am sincerely sorry for your loss, you have our sympathy and prayers. Mr. Knight lived a long time which is a blessing for those who knew him, because life is so short nowadays. It wasn't our Creator suppose for any of us to live a few years and then die, he wanted us to live forever in paradise on earth (Genesis 1:26-28; Genesis 3:1-6). Because of God's great love for mankind he promised to bring our loved ones back by means of the resurrection to live life free of sickness, sorrow, pain and death (Isaiah 25:8; Isaiah 65:17-25; John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3,4).
