Obituary of James Henry Armstrong

Mr. Armstrong was a veteran of World War II where he served in the Army Air Force Unit and retired from State of Alabama, Department of Industrial Relations as Chief of Field Operations. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Martin Armstrong and Edith Ola Nix; wife, Dorothy LaRue Armstrong; and daughters, Deborah Ann Yeager and Pamela Sue Armstrong. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Denise Josey, and son, James Auburn Armstrong; grandchildren: Michelle Eldridge, John David Yeager, Rachel Clark, Deanna Foster, Ryan Stringfellow, Marlye Armstrong, Alex Armstrong, Olivia Armstrong, and Lola Armstrong, and great-grandchildren: Rylan Clark, Kaitlyn Clark, Zack Eldridge, Devin Eldridge, Haley Eldridge, Gracey Eldridge, Austin Goodenough, Alyssa Goodenough, Ashton Goodenough, Tyler Stringfellow and Trenten Stringfellow. Pallbearers are Matt Eldridge, Zack Eldridge, Devin Eldridge, Alex Armstrong, Wren Stringfellow, and Tyler Stringfellow.
