Ray V. Tompkins, 90 of Ashville Al. passed away June 30, 2017 at William S. Green State V.A. Home in Bay Minette Al. Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm Thursday July 6, 2017 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Talladega with private burial in Pine Hill Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2:00pm at funeral home. Brother Ben Marler will officiate the service. Ray V. was a Veteran of the Korean War and he loved all types of fishing He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Minnie Tompkins, two sisters MayZ Jenkins, Lemurl Lowery and two brothers Clyde Tompkins, Gene Tompkins. Ray V. is survived by his sister Shirley Ball (Daniel) of Talladega and a host of nieces and nephews.
