Obituary of Jewel Lee Kuberka

Funeral service for Jewel L. Kuberka, 86, of Talladega will be Wednesday April 2, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Rev. Doug Whaley and Rev. Charlie Bolt will officiate and burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 PM at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Mrs. Kuberka passed away at her home March 30, 2014. She was a native of Bon Air AL and a long time resident of Talladega. She was the pastor of Gospel Assembly until it was closed. She loved God and ministering at local nursing homes and also through her Prayer Band for 26 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Anthony Kuberka, son, daughter, 2 grandchildren and 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Mrs. Jewel is survived by her son, Mike Kuberka, 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, 2 grandchildren she raised, Christopher Lynn Watkins and Anitria Yvette Biggers, brother, Edward Lee, sister, Thelma Smelley and a host of nieces and nephews.
