Obituary of Bobby "Bob" Abernathy

~Mr. Bobby "Bob"  Abernathy, 77, of Ashville, Alabama passed away on May 22, 2017 in Birmingham.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin R. and Augusta Bell Roulaine Abernathy. 

He is survived by his wife, Judith R. Abernathy; children, Hugh Abernathy, Chris Abernathy (Misty), Robin Abernathy Joiner, Kim Abernathy Peace (Roger), Adam Abernathy (Stephanie), Kerry L. Montgomery (Jim),  and David M. Murphree (Julie).  He is also survived by several step-children and their families who loved and respected him very much, and by a host of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren to whom he was Pop and PawPaw.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City.

There will be  private memorial service held at a later date.
