Obituary of J.D. Arnold

~Mr. J.D.   Arnold, 87, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on April 28, 2017 in Birmingham.

Mr. Arnold was a native of Ragland.  He was employed by National Cement Company for 32 years.  He was a member of Hardin's Chapel Bible Church. He was a US Navy Veteran, serving in Korea.  Mr. Arnold was a member of the St. Clair County Sports Hall of Fame and a member of the James D. Truss Masonic Lodge #515.

He is survived by his wife, Bettye Arnold; daughter, Jada Grass (John); sons, Bart  Arnold (Teresa) and Joey Arnold (Lea); grandchildren, Jared Arnold (Courtney), Justin, Russ, Allie, Tanner and Sam Arnold, Jud, Jules and Jace Grass; great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Myla and Meridith Arnold.

The Funeral Service was held at 2:00 pm on Monday May 1, 2017 at Hardin's Chapel Bible Church with the Rev. Doug Ford officiating.  Interment was at Ragland Methodist Cemetery.
