Obituary of Dr. Larry W. Sampson
~Dr. Larry W. Sampson, 78, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on April 30, 2017 in Pell City.
Dr. Sampson was a member of Greensport Baptist Church. He was a Captain in the US Army and served in Vietnam. He practiced medicine in the eastern area of Birmingham for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Sampson; daughter, Anna Rossman (John); grandsons, Cason Fisher, Evan Fisher and William Rossman; sister, Patricia Ann Faulkner (Walter); and by his nephew, Danny Faulkner.
The Funeral Service will be at12:00 pm on Thursday May 4, 2017 at Greensport Baptist Church with Bro. Jeremy Williams officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 until 12:00 at the church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Greensport Baptist Church, 9260 Shoal Creek Rd., Ashville, AL 35953.
