Obituary of Leslie H. Stephens

Funeral service for Les Stephens, 52, of Talladega will be Sunday March 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Irons will officiate and burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mr. Stephens passed away March 27, 2014 at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. Les was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was the owner and operator of Stephens Carpet Company. He was a three time National Award Recipient for his gospel and county music. He is survived by his wife Gina Stephens, daughters, Ashley Stephens Hallmark (Trae), Katherine Amelia Stephens (Mike Owens), son, Adam Martin Stephens, parents, Jackie and Elaine Stephens, step-children, Jessica Horn, Seth Horn (Savannah), and 6 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Skip Hallmark, Jeff Corbin, Trae Hallmark, Seth Horn, Chuck Woodard, Duanne Stephens, and Jeff Keith. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Haney, Terry Bullard, Danny Bice, and Billy Ray Elkins
