~~Mrs. Mildred Johnson Kendrick 94 of Pell City Alabama passed away on April 29th 2017. Mrs. Kendrick was born to the late Ernest L. Johnson and Lena Callahan Johnson December 15, 1922.
Mrs. Kendrick was a graduate of Pell City High School. She retired as an IBM Operator for Avondale Mills. She enjoyed many years of volunteering in the community, teaching Sunday School, and being a Weight Watchers lecturer. Her proudest moments were being with her family and building lasting memories.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Kendrick; stepson, Richard Kendrick; sister, Betty Johnson; and by her brothers, Roy Johnson and Herman Johnson.
Mrs. Kendrick is survived by her daughter , Judy Kendrick Ellison; step daughter, Barbara Ann Kendrick Davis; sons, Wayne Kendrick, Gary Kendrick (Barbara), Dale Kendrick (Ronnye), Jerome Kendrick ( Jane). Sisters, Christine Scribner and Sandra Van Zandt; brother, Ted Johnson; and sister in law Mable Johnson. She also is survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kendrick will be on Monday May 1, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Usrey Funeral Home Pell City. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
