Obituary of Sandra King Blankenship

~Mrs. Sandra King  Blankenship, 69, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on April 28, 2017 in Pell City.

 Mrs. Blankenship was a retired school teacher.  Her husband was a Methodist minister.  They had numerous friends across the state of Alabama who they met at various churches during his ministry.  She was active in church, sang in the choir, and adored her feline kids. Mrs. Blankenship was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Thomas Blankenship; her parents, William and Marzell King; and by her sister, Lois King Gilley (Wayne).

She is survived by her brother, Billy King, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday April 30, 2017 at Pinson First United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 at the church.
 
 In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to your local humane society.
