Obituary of James Edward Perry

James Edward Perry, of Pell City, passed away at the age of 77 on Thursday, March 30, 2017. Mr. Perry was a pillar of the local community; a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. A graveside ceremony will be held at St. Clair Memorial Gardens on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM. A memorial service celebrating the life and philanthropy of Mr. Perry will be held at a date to be announced in the future.
Mr. Perry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeanette and their children; Michael and Marie Perry of Rigby, Idaho; David and Vicki Perry of Madison, Alabama; Robert and Kay Perry of Pell City and; Andra and Timothy Gallagher of Portland, Oregon. Mr. Perry was blessed with seven grandsons: Mitchell, Daniel, Joseph, Paul, Jonathan, Levi, and Jacob and a single granddaughter, Ada.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Pell City Public Library.
