Funeral service for Sue Sexton, 81 of Talladega will be Friday March 10, 2017 at 11:00 at Providence Baptist Church. Rev. Clyde Petus will officiate and burial will follow in the adjoining Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 pm at Usrey Funeral Home.
She will lie-in-state Friday from 10-11 am at the church
Mrs. Sexton passed away at her home March 7, 2017.
She was a native of Louisiana and a resident of Talladega since 1978. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and the WMU.
She was preceded in death by parents Alvin and Stella Garner, brothers, Barry, Earl, Ken, Homer, Herbert, Murrell, Walter, and Floyd.
Her survivors include her husband of 42 years, Hugo Sexton Jr., son, Shaun Sexton (Blu Stephens), sisters, Elois Timbs, Mary Griffin, brothers, John Garner and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Keith Timbs, Danny Timbs, Johnny Garner, Tim Adams.
