Funeral service for Dorothy Wood Noel, 90 of Talladega will be Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home. Rev. Ava Rozelle will officiate and burial will follow in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega.
Mrs. Noel passed away February 21, 2017 in Ashland.
She was a native of Talladega, lifelong pastor’s wife and servant of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. William E. Noel, brother, Jack Wood.
Mrs. Noel is survived by her sons David A. Noel (Diane), James E. Noel (Robin), daughter, Anne Noel Harrison (Phillip), son, John H. Noel (Tina), grandchildren, Ashley Harrison, Zachary Harrison, Barrett Noel, Chris Williams, Ashleigh Hair, Benjamin Noel and Jeremy Noel, 4 great-grandchildren, brother, Donald Wood, several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Noel Fendlason, Bill Noel, Brian Durham, Zach Harrison, Chris Williams, and Barrett Noel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children’s, PO Box 361767 Birmingham AL 35236.
