Obituary of Judy C. Evans

JUDY C. EVANS Services will be held at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, Alabama. Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm and funeral service on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 1:00pm. On January 16, 2017, our loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother was called to her heavenly home. Born, September 10th, 1941, Judy was 75. She will forever be remembered for her love of children, her dedication to her late husband of 57 years, Doug, and care and devotion of her 3 children; Tina, Roy and Bruce. Judy’s chosen profession was home maker and keeper of children. The best account of the children she kept over the years is 55. Her legacy of love was expressed so vividly in the thousands of bottles fed, diapers changed and meals prepared. When you left your children in Judy’s care you knew they were safe, well fed and kept cleaned; but most of all you knew they were loved. Judy is survived by Daughter, Tina Delashmit (Bubba) Son’s, Roy Evans (Karen) and Bruce Evans (Sherrie), Grandchildren, Amy Johnson, Ashley Antley (Reese), Jessica Deese, Katie Miller (TJ), Shelby, Tyde, Tommy Bryant, Regan Bryant (Miranda), Brett Evans (Jessica), Brooke Beene (Alex) and 15 Great Grand Children.Sisters, Ann Burgess Carter and Shelby Jean Raper. Sister’s In Law, Edna Dills (Clarence) and Helen Alderman and several nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by Biological Parents, Paul (Paul Daddy) and Retta Aldredge, loving Parents Hamp and Dora Mae Carroll, Husband and lifelong friend Doug Evans and Sister Jo Calloway.
