Obituary of Jodie Albert McDonald

Funeral service for Jodie Albert McDonald, 91 of Lincoln will be Friday, December 30, 2016 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega at 1:00 pm. Rev. Robert Blankenship, and Rev. Walt Hedstrom will officiate and burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 pm at Usrey Funeral Home. Mr. McDonald passed away December 26, 2016. He was a native of Talladega County and a longtime resident of Lincoln. He served in the US Navy during WW II. He retired from Anniston Army Depot. He was a member of The Bible Methodist where he served as a Sunday school teacher, member of the Alabama Bible Methodist Conferences Board and other Committees. He was preceded in death by wife, Foy McDonald, parents, Jodie and Tishia McDonald, and siblings, Earl and Bloice McDonald, France Brannen, Mae Weldon. His survivors include children, Marie Haynie (Emmett Ray) and Linda Davis (Donald), grandchildren, Jonathan Haynie (Aduska Shaye), Jeremy Haynie (Beth), Joseph Davis (Amy) and Jason Davis (Jennifer), great-grandchildren, Tyler Haynie, Trent Haynie, Caleb Haynie, Isabella Davis, Emberlynn Davis, Asher Haynie, Keegan Davis and Evan Davis, sisters, Myrtle Peoples, Shirley Peoples, Sarah Weldon, brothers, Herman McDonald (Peggie), Neal McDonald, Curtis Edward McDonald (Barbara), several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Haynie, Jeremy Haynie, Joseph Davis, Jason Davis, Sandy People, and Wayne Fleming.
