Evelyn Christine Smith, 86, of Talladega, passed away December 24, 2016. Funeral Services will be held 5:00 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 – 5:00 pm Tuesday. Jack Washington will officiate. Graveside service will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday at High Point Church Cemetery in Albertville, Al.
Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Bessie Boen, husband Douglas Smith and daughter, Linda Offard.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Cox, son, Larry Smith(LeighAnne), sister Betty Henson(Joe) and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
