Obituary of Tony Rudolph Henderson

Tony Rudolph Henderson a native of Ragland, Al and longtime resident of Wattsville, Al, born 11-30-30, passed away at his residence December 3, 2016. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Ruby Martin Henderson of 57 years, his beloved son Tony Randal Henderson (Sheila), Brother-in-Law, Ray T. Martin, (Frances), and one Sister, Geraldine Jackson (Charles), He is survived by his wife Mary Talley Henderson of 8 years, his daughter Rhonda Gaye Lee (Jerry), and son Kerry Ryan Henderson (Laura), one Brother, Benny Joe Henderson,(Maxine), Grandchildren, Gloria Henderson Moses (Brad), Luke Anthony Henderson (Mandi), Jered Andrew Lee (Lyndi) ,Toni Louise Lee and eight great Grandchildren. Stepchildren Elroy Talley (Cindy), Stephen Talley (Debby), and Edwin Talley. Step Grandchildren Douglas Talley (Brooke) Malea Shaddix (Daniel), Amanda Slaughter (Josh), Jonathan Talley, and three Great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was a dedicated member and Deacon of Pope’s Chapel Community Church of Wattsville, Al. He was a Master Mason (PM) of Ben M. Jacobs Lodge (643), a member of James D. Truss Lodge (515), and a member of Eastern Star (150). He was a beloved officer of Pope’s Chapel Cemetery Committee serving as President for the past 30 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pope’s Chapel Cemetery Committee, in care of James Alverson, PO Box 1231, Pell City Al. 35125. Pall Bearers are James Alverson, Jeff Alverson, Eddie Henderson, Daniel Shaddix, Douglas Talley and Jonathan Talley. Honorary Pallbearers are: Elroy and Stephen Talley, the Brethren of Ben M. Jacobs Lodge (643, and James D. Truss Lodge (515). Friends will be received on 12-4-2016 from 5 to 8pm at Usery Funeral Home, Pell City, Al. Funeral services are scheduled for 12-5, 2016 at 2pm at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City. Graveside interment at Popes Chapel Cemetery, Ragland, Al conducted by Ben M Jacobs Lodge (643).
