Obituary of Michael Jason Thornton

Funeral service for Michael Jason Thornton, 39 of Talladega will be Sunday November 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Rev. Matt Moore, Rev. Cal McIntire, Rev. Steve Hullett will officiate and burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. His family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00-7:00 pm November 26, 2016 from at Usrey Funeral Home. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega directing. Jas0n passed away November 24, 2016 at Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Lowell, Georgia and a resident of Talladega. He was a real active member and deacon at the church he loved, Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was actively involved in the Brotherhood and RA’s at Mt. Olive Baptist. Jason was an avid Hunter and guns man. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was everyone’s “Baby” especially his mother. His survivors include his wife of 12 years, Bari “Belle” Morris Thornton, children, Barrett James Hutto, Haley Thornton, Gage Thornton, parents, Mike and Elaine Thornton, sisters, Penny Long, April Thomas (Michael), In-laws, Brent and Cindy Morris, mother-in-law, Barbara Morris, several nieces, nephews and cousins, his beloved dog “Scooter”. Pallbearers will be Graham Davis, Hoyt Davis, Wayne Wilson, Don Huddleston, Wesley Long, Blake Thomas, Brad Thornton and Mike Perry. Deacons at Mt.
