Obituary of Blanche Hooper

BLANCHE THIBODAUX HOOPER TALLADEGA - Graveside services for Blanche Thibodaux Hooper, 99, were Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 2 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Jared Bryant officiating. Her family received friends Thursday from 1:00-1:45 pm at Usrey Funeral Home. Mrs. Hooper died November 10 at her residence in Hilton Head, S.C. A native of Vacherie, Louisiana, she lived in Talladega most of her life and was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. She was retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Hooper and sisters Katherine Forman and Jane Bryant. She is survived by her stepson Joseph Hooper (Beth) of Blue Ridge, GA and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Methodist Church. .
