David Gene Sherrill, 82 of Alpine, Al., passed away November 13, 2016. Services will be held 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in the Chapel at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega. His family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Dr. William Maynard will officiate. He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Sherrill, daughter, Leigh Ann Seaman, and grandson, Gabriel David Seaman. Mr. Sherrill was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County and longtime member of Salem Presbyterian Church. Usrey Funeral Home Talladega will direct services. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Salem Presbyterian Church, 100068 Renfroe Rd, Alpine, AL 35014-6428.
