Funeral service for Elizabeth Barber Hare, 77 of Talladega will be Friday, November 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Johnny Jones will officiate and burial will follow in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends Friday from 1:00- 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Mrs. Hare passed away November 2, 2016 at Citizens BBMC. She was a native and longtime resident of Talladega and a member of Clara Purcell United Methodist Church of Talladega. She was a volunteer at Henderson School for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mrs. Hare is preceded in death by parents Joe Calbert and Jewell Barber, and sister, Doris Nell Barber. Her survivors include her husband of 51 years, Philip Hare, children, Karen Hare Hayes (Todd Hayes), Phil B. Hare, Jr., Melanie Hare Smith (John David Smith Jr.), grandchildren, Sam Mann, and Addyson Elizabeth Smith, sister, Judy Barber Allen (Frankie Allen), brother, Joe C. Barber, Jr. (Nan Bragg Barber), several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Todd Hayes, Frankie Allen, David Smith, Cal Barber, Rick Daniel and Jeff Mann.
