Obituary of Charles Edward Colquitt

Graveside service for Charles “Charlie” Edward Colquitt, 68 of Talladega will be Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:00 at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Rev. Martin Murray will officiate and Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. His family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 -10:30 Mr. Colquitt passed away September 28, 2016 at St. Vincent’s St. Clair. He was a native and longtime resident of Talladega and retired from Anniston Army Depot. He was a veteran of US Air Force. He was an avid bee keeper and a member of St. Clair Bee Keeper Association and the Alabama Bee Keepers Association. He was a m ember of Horn’s Memorial Baptist Church and 1967 graduate of Bibb Graves High School. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence S. Colquitt, brother, James Colquitt. He is survived by his mother, Katherine Colquitt, brother, Jerry (Barbara) Colquitt, sisters, Karen (Don) Carroll, Kathleen (Fred) Jenkins, nephews, Jeff Carroll, Will Carroll and Brian Jenkins.
