Graveside service for Victor Eugene “Pete Jr.” Smith, 73 of Talladega will be 3:00 pm Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Lanier Cemetery in Grasmere. Rev. Kevin Jones will officiate. His family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega.
Mr. Smith passed away September 1, 2016 at Brookwood Medical Center.
“Pete Jr.” was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. He was retired from Quality Manufacturing and was an avid HAMM radio operator.
He is survived by his daughters Susan Gardner (Bill), Kimberly Horner, sister, Susan Crim (William), 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son Victor Allen Smith, and parents Victor “Pete” and Louise Smith.
