Funeral service for Willie Mae Parden Sprayberry, 85 of Talladega, will be Monday, August 29, 2016 at 3:00 pm at the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home. Rev. Rickey Milford will officiate and burial will follow in Midway Memory Gardens. Her family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 pm. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct.
Mrs. Sprayberry passed away August 25, 2016 at St. Vincent’s St. Clair.
She was a native of Choctaw County and a resident of Talladega County most of her life. She attended the First Baptist Church for the Deaf. Mrs. Sprayberry was a graduate of the Alabama School for the Deaf and a former employee at Palm Beach and the Industries for the Blind. She loved sewing and quilting was her favorite hobby. She loved spending time with her family, epically her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Parden, daughter, Diane Gay, parents, Grady and Ruth Wilson, 3 sisters, and 3 brothers.
Her survivors include her daughter, Debbie Gaither (Johnny), son, Wayne Parden (Jenny),son-in-law, Mike Gay, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Parden, Mike Gay, Justin Howard, Randy Lee Parden, Patrick Parden and Chris Howard.
