James Taylor Scott 80, of Pell City passed away August 8, 2016. Funeral Services will be held Friday 2:00 pm August 12, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church in Talladega with burial in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Rev. Leeann Scarbrough, Rev. Wes Johnson, Billy Atchison and Rev. Ronnie Duncan will officiate the service. His family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega. Mr. Scott was a native of Greeneville Tennessee and a former longtime resident of Talladega, He was a member of The First Presbyterian Church in Talladega, retired from Anniston Petroleum and Pump shop. He is preceded death by his first wife Barbara Joann Scott , brother D.C. Scott, granddaughter Kandas Scott, great grandson Auston Scott. Survivors include his wife Ruth Taylor Scott, daughter Diane Scott McDonald, son David Scott, son Jimmy Scott and his wife Lisa, step children Rick Taylor (Pat), Jermiah Taylor ( Misty), Mike Taylor, Susan Henley (Tim) 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren,1 great –great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Rick Taylor, Danny, Rick and Will Scott, Jeremy, Luke and Adam McDonald, Nick Scott and John Hart. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Talladega.
