Graveside service for Frank J. Blackburn, Jr., 63, of Talladega will be Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 11:00 at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Shane Clark will officiate. His family will receive friends from 9:30 – 10:30. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct.
Mr. Blackburn passed away August 2, 2016 at his home.
He was a native and longtime resident of Talladega. He attended Munford High School. He retired from Quality Auto Parts with 31 years of service. His knowledge of automobiles and racing was huge.
He is preceded in death by his father Frank J. Blackburn, Sr.,
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Connie Hodnett Blackburn, children, Catherine Blackburn (Deric Maddox), Jessica Blackburn Marquardt (Kyle), grandchildren, Aiden Marquardt, Noah Marquardt, Georgia Marquardt, Aron Adams, and Scarlett Maddox, mother Vesta Mae Blackburn, brothers, Mike Blackburn, Johnny Blackburn and Tommy Blackburn, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chris Blackburn, Jacob Blackburn, Jason Blackburn, Donny Hudgins, Johnny Frank, and Davy Ponder.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Blackburn, Stanley Blackburn, Rodney Blackburn, Butch Blackburn and Donald Hudgins.
