Obituary of Charles "Skippy" Hallmark

Funeral services for Charles “Skippy” Hallmark, Sr. of Talladega will be 1:00 pm, Friday, July 29, 2016 at Central Baptist Church. Rev. Marc Curlee will officiate and burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. His family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mr. Hallmark passed away July 27, 2016 in Birmingham. He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Nobie Hallmark and sister Pat McCoy. “Skippy” was a member of Central Baptist Church. He retired as an investigator with Talladega County Sheriff’s Department and was a 50 year pin recipient of Masonic Lodge 261. His survivors include his wife Edna Hallmark, sons Skip Hallmark (Shannon), Tim Hallmark (Kelli), sister Janie Germany (Bill), grandchildren Chris Hallmark, Trae Hallmark, Hillari Hallmark, step-daughters Lisa Isbell, Jeanne Ball, and Judy Travis. Pallbearers will be Chris Hallmark, Trae Hallmark, Tyler Hallmark, Dillon Travis, Kyle Evitts, and Roy Stewart. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Baptist Church.
