Funeral service for Rosa Lucile Floyd, 98, of Florida formerly of Talladega will be Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Rev. Mike Owens will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Sylacauga AL. Her family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 pm. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Family request casual dress.
Mrs. Floyd passed away July 23, 2016 in Florida.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William H. Floyd, Jr.
Her survivors include daughter, Judy K. Suddeth, of Oviedo, FL, sons, Gerald D. Floyd (Shirley), of Lincoln and Charles H. Floyd, Sr., of Belvedere SC, 8 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, sisters, Pauline Bowen, and Inez Curtis of Fultondale AL, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Charles Floyd, Jr., Jason Floyd, Cody McKay, Justin Pomeroy, Chris Mullinnix, and Russ Suddeth.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chase McKay, Trenton Suddeth, Tyler Suddeth, Chandler Caudill, and James Summers.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to a church of your choice.
