I'd like to extend my sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Colleen Crosby. I've known her since elementary school where she was my P.E. teacher at Stemley for many years. Over the years we've kept in contact from me inviting her to monumental events for me including undergraduate and professional school, exchanging holiday greetings, as well as my wedding back in 2008 where she blessed me with her presence. Every time we'd see each other, she'd always bring up a story from back in elementary school when former superintendent, the late Dr. Grissett visited and I told them, "If I'd known we were having company, I would've dressed up!" She really enjoyed telling that story! Mrs. Crosby was a wonderful person. I'm going to miss sending/receiving holiday greetings and event invitations as well as running into her around town every now and then. May her sweet soul rest in peace in heaven. I will cherish the gifts that she so graciously bought over the years.
