Mrs. Sarah W. "Louise" Akin, 84, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on June 9, 2016 in Ragland.
Mrs. Akin was a member of Hardin's Chapel Bible Church. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Poe and by a sister-in-law, Lucille Warren.
She is survived by her Husband, Clarence W. Akin; Daughters, Deborah A. Poe (Braxton) and Delores A. Slone (Terry); Son, David M. Akin (Patsy); Sister, Willene Cooper (Harry); Brothers, Ferrell Warren and Robert Warren (Kay); and by 6 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great- Great- Grandchild.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday June 12, 2016 at Hardin's Chapel Bible Church, 7705 AL Hwy. 144, Ragland, AL 35131 with Rev. Doug Ford officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the church.
Pallbearers will be Jared Akin, Jeremy Akin, Scott Slone, Stedman Poe, Sam Allgood and Stephen Bunt.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Sarah W.
