Funeral service for Diane Barber Wideman, of Talladega, will be Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home. Rev. Kory Burel and Roy Cordle will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega.
Mrs. Wideman passed away at her home June 7, 2016.
She was a native of Talladega and a member of Bemiston Baptist Church. She owned and operated the Amoco Food Stop.
Mrs. Wideman is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Lola Barber, sisters, Connie Barber and Joyce Allen, and grandson Steven E. Wideman, Jr.
Mrs. Wideman is survived by her son, Steven E. Wideman (Briggett), grandchildren, Marrissa and Gene Greenwood and Morgan Wideman, sisters, Geraldine Osburn (Clifford) and Shirley Mellon.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Mellon, Ryan Hughston, Bert Haynes, George Bishop, and Alan Nunn.
Honorary pallbearer will be Gregory Hughston.
