Lovie Cotton (Pete) Bell, 100 years old, passed away May 28, 2016, at her residence. Born November 7, 1915 to Rempson and Julie Ann Cotton. The fourth of five daughters; Alma Wright, Velma Wright, Dovie Pettis and Ann Hartman. The oldest member of Refuge Baptist Church. A member since 1927, for 89 ½ years. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home on May 31, 2016. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial at Hall Cemetery in Lincoln, Al, will follow. Reverend Sammy Logon will officiate. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Horace Bell. She is survived by four children; June Anderson of Lincoln, Al, Jimmy Bell (Vivian) of Anniston, Al, Kenneth Bell of Wright City, Mo, and Elmer Bell (Deanie) of Lincoln, Al, Eleven grand-children, twenty great grand-children and seven great-great grand-children. Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of loving family and friends. Mrs. Bell was a life-long resident of Lincoln and retired from Palm Beach Co. in 1978. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons. A special thanks to Alacare Hospice for their loving care.
