He was a member of the Leeds Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years and was Captain of the Leeds Reserve Police Department for 10 years. He was a World War II veteran.He was preceded in death by his parents, Hosea & Marie Pike, and by his sisters Emma Lou Brannon and Thelma Pike.
