My condolences to the family, losing a loved is difficult and something no one is truly prepared to endure, at 1 Peter 5 :7 were encouraged to "throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." May you find comfort in God and comfort in his promise of a ressurection. ( John 5:28,29) A promise that will enable you to see your loved one again and enjoy the close relationship you once had.
