Background: Mr. Pike was Superintendent for the City of Leeds for 27 years. He was a member of the Leeds Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years and was Captain of the Leeds Reserve Police Department for 10 years. He was a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hosea Mattie Lou Pike, and by his sisters Emma Lou Brannon and Thelma Pike.
