Tommy Carl Wright, 69 of Talladega passed away April 18, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga. A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Oak Hill Cemetery. Rev. Ivan Fuller will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega.
Mr. Wright was a native of Weatherford, TX. He was retired from the U.S. Army and was a veteran of Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Wright, sons Shannon Wright, Greg Wright, Anthony Wright, mother Alma Ruth Goss, half-brother Wallace Goss, Jr., and grandchildren Skylar, Haley, Sydney, Nolan, Madalyn, Gracyn, and Noah Wright. He is preceded in death by his father Doyle Wayne Wright and sister Donna Faye Wright.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Wright, Greg Wright, Anthony Wright, Todd Cheatwood, Jeffrey Johnson, and Phil Hare.
Honorary pallbearers will be Noah and Nolan Wright.
