Funeral service for Robert Gurley, 90 of Talladega will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday April 12, 2016 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Rev. Stephen Collins will officiate and burial will follow in Pine Hill Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Tuesday from noon to 1:30 pm at the Funeral Home.
Mr. Roberts passed away April 9, 2016 at his home.
He was a native of Piedmont and a resident of Talladega most of his life. He was a member of Stockdale Baptist Church and retired from AIDB Broom Shop.
He is survived by his caregivers of 33 years Lottie Haynes, Joseph Brasher, brother Thomas Roberts, daughters Elaine Campbell, Michelle Cardwell, Christy Armbrester, 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 4 nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cody Ford, Billy Gurley, Jr., Justin Herrington, James Gurley, Jessie Gurley, and Bradley Ford.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Gurley and Kevin Sizemore.
