Bobby Ray Bowman, 70 of Talladega passed away April 4, 2016. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday April 6, 2016 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Talladega. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mike Drummond will officiate services.
Mr. Bowman was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. He was employed with Lainiere De Picardie, LDP. He was a loyal working man, loving father and grandfather. He was well known for his musical talent and songwriting abilities.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Bobbie Ann Bowman and mother Katherine Bowman. He is survived by his children Teresa Fargason, Priscilla (Sam) Willingham, Sarah Bowman, grandchildren Josh Willingham, Brandi (Spencer) Bowman, Coty (Ashley) Bowman, great-grandchild Brailey Bridges, brothers Danny Bowman, Robert (Brenda) Bowman, Larry Bowman, and sister Mary (Larry) Welch.
Active pallbearers will be Josh Willingham, Michael Bowman, Barry Bowman, Larry Bowman, Tim Bowman, and Ralph Haywood. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Hubbard, Will Higgins, Joey Peters, Jojo Peters, and Matt Peters.
