Funeral service for Jerry Brown, 78 of Munford will be Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Bishop Harl Skipper and Brother Buddy Robinson will officiate and burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Munford. His family will receive friends Monday March 28, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Mr. Brown received his heavenly reward March 26, 2016. He is preceded in death by parents, Jesse and Melissa Brown, grandchildren, Brandon Campbell and Maddie Kate Stovall. He was a native of Birmingham a longtime resident of Calhoun and Talladega Counties. He was a charter member of Bynum Church of God. He loved fishing, wood working, and quilting. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lucy Brown, children, Shelley Johnson, Tanya “Darlene” Thomas (Bryan W.), Pamela Brown, Jerry A. “Bubba” Brown (Dianna), Sharon Brown, 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, sisters, Kay Davie, Nita Ponder, Amy Hazel, Wanda Arnold, Janice Mason, and brothers James Brown, Jessie Brown and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren: Clinton Dean Dolin, Jr., Joseph Stovall, Matthew Stovall, Wesley Campbell, Mathew Campbell, Jerry Lee Brown, Michael Johnson, Andrew Johnson, and Shellina Dolin.
