Funeral service for Shirley Miller Sanders, 77 of Talladega will be Thursday March 17, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, from 6-8 pm. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct.
Mrs. Sanders passed away March 14, 2016 at UAB.
She is preceded in death by mother, Artie Mae Epperson, father, Fred Miller, sons, Charles Randy Dison and Timothy Shannon Dison, grandson, Jace Dison, great-grandson, Christopher Hurst, brother, James “Burt” Lee.
Mrs. Sanders was a native and a lifelong resident of Talladega. She was a member of Harvest Field Church. She loved to sing in the choir at church.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years Jerry Sanders, children, Gary Dison (Alison), Darrell Dison (Donna), Randall Dison (Amie), Stephen Dison (Schamelle), Kenneth Dison (Linda), 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, sisters, Joyce Ducharme (Robert), Teresa Holland, several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
