Memorial service for Mrs. Ioma “Pat” Vincent Lowery, 94, of Lincoln will be Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Blue Eye Baptist Church of Lincoln with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Jacky Morgan will officiate and Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Her family will receive friends Saturday from 2-3 pm at the church. Mrs. Lowery passed away March 6, 2016 in Baton Rouge, LA. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles W. Vincent, and Norman W. Lowery, parents, Elsie Elizabeth and Otis M. Truitt, sisters, Lillian Dorsett, Vertell Smith, Christine Spradley, Marie Waits, and an infant baby brother. “Pat” was a native of Odenville, AL and longtime resident of Birmingham and Lincoln AL. She retired with 27 years of service at Hayes International Aircraft where she was a Senior Flight Deck Inspector and Manager. She was a member of Blue Eye Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Birmingham, AL. She enjoyed gospel music, gardening, and the University of Alabama Football. Her passion was her love and devotion to her children and family. Mrs. Lowery is survived by her children, Charlaine Vincent Mellon and husband Jimmy Mellon,Diane Vincent Ruggiero, and John Paul Vincent, having 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
