Funeral services for Susan B. Marler, 56, will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Talladega. Randy Morris will officiate and burial will follow at Blankenship Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Usrey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Marler passed away March 3, 2016 at her residence.
Susan was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She was a member of Horn’s Valley Memorial Church. She loved gardening, buttercups, and all of her family members.
She is survived by her husband Jimmy “O’Neal” Marler, son Brian O’Neal Marler, mother Edna Christine Blankenship, sisters Diane Murner, Phyllis Williams, Shelia Gentry (Roger), Tena Turner, brothers Dale Blankenship (Chris), Keith Blankenship (Michelle), Terry W. Blankenship, grandchildren Brianna Marler, and Hayden Marler.
Pallbearers will be Michael Turner, Tracy “Bo” Murner, Keith Blankenship, Kelly Blankenship, Matt Gentry, T.J. Blankenship, and Wesley Blankenship.
Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
