Obituary of Donald Smith

Don Smith, 66, of Lincoln passed away at Trinity Hospital in Birmingham February 17th 2014. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Bro. Chuck Smith and Minister Willie Orr will officiate. Burial will be at Pine Hill Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Usrey Funeral Home. He was a native of Anniston and lived in Lincoln AL for the past 20 years. He was a veteran of Vietnam War. The most important thing to him was his family and his greatest reward was helping others. He graduated from JSU and was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He was born to the late Cecil Smith and the late Elizabeth Smith. He is survived by his wife Sheila Smith, brother, Gordan Smith, sisters Edna Lancaster, and Gracie (Bill) McDonough, Audrey Terry, Cathy (Steve) Counts, Lisa (Jimmy) Tucker along with several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all his family. Pallbearers will be Freddie Bates, Michael Tucker, Gregg Smith, Shayne McDonough, Tim Wilkerson, Francisco “Ponch” Ramos, Danny Haynes & Michael “Biggin” Chenette.
