Larry Lee McNew, Jr., 46 of Pell City, Alabama passed away peacefully on January 31, 2016 surrounded by family.
Larry was born on April 16, 1969 in Illinois. A gifted mechanic who loved working with his hands, he was always willing to use his talents to help others. Larry loved his career as a Master Mechanic. He loved life and had a HUGE sense of humor, comparable only to the size of his heart. Spending most of his free time on the lake, you could always find him with family and friends on his boat, "Dan the Man".
Larry is preceded in death by his grandparents, by his father Larry, Sr., and by his sister, Rebecca Beard.
He is survived by his wife, Danna Bryans Hatfield McNew; Children Brandon and Morgan McNew; Step-son Bryan Hatfield (Courtney); Mother Karen McNew; Brother Jimmy McNew (Melissa); Granddaughters Kaitlynn and Emma Hatfield; brother-in-law Jack Beard; Roger Dobbins and family; and by his loving nieces and nephews, Larry loved his furry canine daughters, Goldie and Gidget.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday February 4, 2016 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:45 pm - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
