So sorry for your loss. Death is such a enemy of all humans. One thing that brings me comfort is scriptures from the Bible. There we find the hope that we will be reunited with our dead love ones based on John 5:28-29. We can have confidence in this hope because he has done this in the past (John 11:39-44) and he is eager to do it again (Job 14:14-15). God actually hates death as brought out at 1 Corinthians 15:26. I hope that these few scriptures have brought you a source of comfort as they have myself.
