Rev. Williams was a devoted pastor in area churches for 33 years, serving Pine Forest Baptist Church for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bart and Chessie Williams, and by a grandson,Stuart Allen Williams.
He is survived by his wife of 59 1/2 years: Norma Jean Williams, Daughter: Anita Williams Smith (Gene), Sons: David Paul Williams (Stacy), Nolan "Stu" Williams (Linda), Five Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren, His "Second Mother": Maw Bett, and his "Brother from another Mother": Norman "Pate" Kendrick
Service: 2:00 pm on Sunday January 3, 2016 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City
Clergy: Rev. Ted St.John
Cemetery: Pine Forest Cemetery
Visitation: Saturday, January 2, 2016, 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home
Pallbearers: Andrew Williams, Benny Morgan, Chris Peoples, Jeremiah Benson, Michael Bean, and Tim Huling.
Honorary Pallbearers: Ted Higginbotham, Larry Patterson, Pate Kendrick
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Gideons.
