Obituary of Mary Catherine Mitchell

Mary Catherine Mitchell was welcomed into heaven by her Lord and Savior on February 12, 2014 at the age of 88. Mrs. Mitchell was a long-time member of Hepzibah Baptist Church where she was a member of the Esther Sunday school class and a former Sunday school teacher of many years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years A.D. Mitchell, Sr. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her daughter Jennene and husband Terry Milam of Talladega, Al., her son A.D. Mitchell, Jr. and wife Linda of Jacksonville, Al., four grandchildren; Jamie Wingfield and husband Brian of Madison, Al., Jason Milam and wife Christian of Alabaster, Al., Cindy Edwards and husband Tim of Talladega, Al., Amber Davis and husband Mark of Talladega, Al., seven great-grandchildren with one great-grandchild on the way and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Mitchell will be held at Hepzibah Baptist Church, Talladega, AL on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Randy Hagan and Dr. Keith Wrenn officiating. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place following the service in the Hepzibah cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frank Denty, David Challender, Ricky Burk, Beaver Tinsley, Billy Klinner and Tony Richey. Honorary pallbearer, Wendel Richey. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct the services.
