Background: Peggy's love for the Lord is what made her life so beautiful. Her family is what made her happy. She loved to be surrounded by those she loved, friends and family alike. Her laughter and smile would light up the room. She would hug, love and cook for everyone around. Her house was always filled with kids and the smell of something cooking. She was everyone's Maw Maw. Her life, her love, and her laughter will be missed by many. The impression she has made on our lives will live in our hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gertrude Tipton, by her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth (Kenneth) Malloy, and by her daughter, Kristi Lynn Phillips.
Survivors: Husband: Vincent Lee Phillips, Sons: Paul (Tammy) Phillips, Jason (Angel) Phillips, Brother: Kenneth (Frances) Tipton, Sister: Sandy (Jarren) Kirkland, Grandchildren: Chase, Jacob, Seth, Joshua, Jaxon, and Isabella, many nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
Service: 11:00 am on Tuesday December 22, 2015 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City
Clergy: Bro. Ted St.John, Bro. Larry Johnson, and Bro Lynn McClain
Cemetery: Macedonia Baptist Cemetery
Visitation: Monday, December 21, 2015, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home
