Hi Carol Sue,
I am sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I remember seeing her about town and talking with her in your house when we were friends in high school. I also remember coming to Usrey when your dad died, because my mother had passed away two weeks prior. Being an orphan is not a good feeling, but knowing you have friends "in the same boat" helps.
Know that this classmate and I'm sure others, care about you and love you. May you have peace, love and comfort, which we are promised at this Christmas season especially.
I would be there if I could for the memorial service, but I am in TX with two of my grandchildren, daughter and son-in -law who live here.
